Well? I figured that this would be a pretty good poll, since most people hate the Elders. 
Personally, I vote Only those who think like Gideon. Not all of them are bad. I kind of liked Zola, before he got killed that is.

They're like parents. They mean well, but most of the time, they're so out of it it's painful. And that's the good ones.
Then there are the ones like Gideon who should be shot and killed point-blank.

The thing is there were a few that I thought were pretty decent and honestly DID just want to help. Zola, like Neb said. Also Ramus, the Elder from season 5 who told Leo that his baby would be healthy and "more powerful than you can even imagine." He meant well, and he had a sense of humor, unlike most of them.

So I take it you're in the 'Half and Half' group Shan? Some of them were good though. Most of them, the ones that come to mind are Gideon and Odin, I wish I could shoot dead on the spot... Pure evil in goodness. If any of you saw my Gideon avatar on FF.net before I changed it, it said, "Good can be evil" I liked it, but I like my FMA of Ed. "Don't call me short!"

Yeah, I guess that's it. But not even really half - just those who think like Gideon. I think they should be shot. I would say 'tortured then shot' but you know what I feel about abuse, so I don't actually think they deserve to be shot. 
But the rest of them, the ones that are good, well, they just need to be shoved off of their high-and-mighty perches because they're really not all that great the way they think they are. But besides for that, they should be left well enough alone.
Now those like Odin... no, I don't think he should be killed. He's like a jerk who stands behind you in the super market, demanding that you hurry up because he doesn't have all day. No, I don't think he should be killed. I just don't think he should have been made an Elder in the first place. I mean he doesn't strike me as an all-around good person... unless he changed drastically as his time as an Elder. *shrug*
Anyway, those are my thoughts on the subject.

Wait is Odin the one from like season 7 when the girls turned into those creatures? If so, I hated his character but I love the actor that played him.

Yeah, I thought that was him. He played Q on Star Trek Next Generation. He was my favorite being they dealt with.
But yes, Odin, was anything but a pacifist, and he was also the one who tricked Leo into choosing the Elders over his family. Really hated him.
